It has been a difficult few months for everyone. Life as we know has been turned upside down. In the process, creating new levels of isolation and pain, while resurfacing old trauma and grief.
Healing is more essential than ever, and acupuncture can help heal your body + soul holistically. I'm thrilled to announce that Hima Acupuncture is reopening for in-person appointments beginning June 30th.
During the first few weeks of reopening, availability will be at the Flatiron office on a limited schedule. Office hours will be Tuesdays and Fridays by appointment only. I will be adding more hours and days as we resume back to normalcy.
Hima Acupuncture is committed to keeping the community healthy and safe, so please read below temporary office protocols.
The provider will:
Wear appropriate PPE, such as mask, face shield, and a medical coat
Wash hands before and after each patient interaction
Suspend the use of sheets, linens, and table warmer; only disposable table paper will be used on the treatment table
Sanitize high-touch surfaces after each patient
Space out appointments with a 15-minute interval to ensure adequate time for sanitizing, and minimizing office traffic for social distancing
Office hours will be by appointment only
As always, only sterile, single-use acupuncture needles are used, which are disposed of safely as medical waste
As the client, you will be asked to:
Enter the office wearing a mask or face covering
No accompanying guests are allowed unless approved by the provider prior to appointment
Fill out a Patient Advisory & Acknowledgement Form electronically (on the day of appointment)
If you experience any COVID-19 or flu-like symptoms (cough, sore throat, fever, shortness of breath, loss of taste or smell), get in touch right away to cancel and no late-cancellation fee will apply
Wash hands prior to the beginning of our session
Bring your own change of clothes if needed, no blankets will be provided at the moment
I cannot wait to get back in the office to do what I love - to support your physical and mental recovery. See you at the office very soon!
