My Journey

Hailing from a family lineage of Chinese Medicine practitioners, I have always been exposed to the healing powers of acupuncture and herbs. After initial careers in the world of fashion and finance, life led me back to my origin.

I understand first hand that health is the greatest gift of all. During my time working in finance, I started developing chronic health issues under the high stress, high intensity environment. My frustration with my own ailments prompted me to seek out acupuncture to get myself healthy again. Ultimately, I regained balance and was healed by this powerful modality of mind-body science. More importantly, it became clear to me that my mission is to share this wonderful medicine with others. I started Hima Acupuncture with the goal of helping busy New Yorkers achieve sustainable wellness while living ambitious lives. I feel very blessed to be the partner-in-health to my patients; and I also proudly serve the performing arts community of Broadway and Cirque du Soleil.

I have also been recognized as one of the top acupuncturists in New York City in 2019 by
