MEET SNOW
Snow Xia, L.Ac., is a New York State-licensed and NCCAOM board-certified acupuncturist specializing in reproductive health, hormonal balance, chronic pain, and the physiological impacts of stress. As the founder of Hima Acupuncture, a private practice in Brooklyn, Snow believes in a continuity-based approach to care that evolves alongside the patient.
Clinical Background & Expertise
Born into a family of Chinese Medicine practitioners, Snow’s path is rooted in ancestral knowledge and refined by rigorous clinical training. She earned her Master of Science in Acupuncture from the New York College of Traditional Chinese Medicine, with advanced clinical training in both the United States and China.
Before dedicating her career to Chinese Medicine, she spent years in the high-performance worlds of modeling and investment banking. This unique background provides her with a first-hand understanding of how high-intensity environments impact the endocrine and nervous systems, allowing her to bridge the gap between ambitious NYC lifestyles and sustainable biological health.
A Continuity-Based Approach
Snow’s practice is built on the philosophy of continuity of care. Unlike high-volume wellness chains, Hima Acupuncture is designed for patients seeking a long-term clinical partnership. By working with the same practitioner over time, treatment plans are continuously calibrated based on the patient’s evolving health and recovery response.
